Christmas Snoglobe Cupcakes
I saw this adorable design on Cake Wrecks. It was submitted by the artist that runs the "Bakearella" blog! Her work is amazing. I hope I did her design justice. The globes are made out of seasonal Coca-Cola bottles, the polar bears out of fondant, and the soda bottles are candy I bought at the local drug store. The inside of the globes were lightly sprayed with sugar water and sprinkled with white sanding sugar. Please share your thoughts!

Have A Cow!
Chocolate cake with buttercream. My first cow! I got my inspiration from aine2. She is the BEST! All accents are made of fondant. This was my first cake using an electric oven, and the first since we moved to TX 5 months ago. I'm a little out of practice but think it turned out beautiful!

Cardinals Grad Cake
Marble cake with bc frosting. The university's team is the Cardinals, but the logo seemed too masculine, so I "feminized" it a bit by adding faux birds and silk roses. Not knowing if the colors of the birds or flowers would bleed (or what they were made of), I put a piece of wax paper between them and the cake. Your comments are appreciated.

Christmas Choir
This was my first fondant covered cake! The background, which is a replica of the wall behind the altar at our church, is made of fondant, with a stainglass window made of lifesavers. The fondant is the MMF recipe I found here, sorry not sure which person's recipe I used, but it was delicious!!!!! Your comments are encouraged! Thanks for looking!

Welcome Home!
The cake is marble with BC frosting. The tree and the animals are made of fondant. The tree has a plastic dowel rod in it for stability. It was made to welcome back our 30 y.o. pastor who has been gone for months receiving treatment for sinu-nasal cancer. The tumor was inoperable, and is now gone, thanks to the wonderful doctors at Johns Hopkins!

Silk Lily Wedding Cake
3-Tier French Vanilla, BC cake with silk flowers. I tied white ribbon around roses before inserting them, it added a little elegance! I hear the wedding was beautiful, but that the bride ended up pouring a drink over her best friend's head! They loved the cake though! Would love to hear your comments!

Grad Cake 2008
After shedding about 1000 tears on this one, I finally got it done! The blue number 8 came out wonky, so I tried to fix it, and, well, we all know what happens when we try to fix blue on white. Nevertheless I prevailed! The top of the grad hat it white chocolate with buttercream all around. Please let me know what you think.
