I used chocolate plastique to cover the cake. The logo is hand painted with edible luster dust. I made the handles out of MM fondant and they were too heavy for the gumpaste buckles so I had to add a small wire to support them. Next time I'll make them out of something a little lighter.

Asian Influenced Wedding Cake
This cake was designed by the bride. She wanted an Asian theme. I used bamboo to support the top tier and created a little water garden effect with a container filled with water and floating flowers. The cake was on a block that is normally used in the garden. The topper was quite heavy so I had to use additional dowels for support. Also there were fondant pearls covering the whole cake.
