Baby Feet Shower Cake
This is for my friend's baby shower. Thanks to zenu for the inspiration! Iced in buttercream (the Sugarshack way) with candy clay accents and candy clay bow. This was my first time doing candy clay, the stripes, and the bow, so it was fun to do something new! Thank you for looking!

Peony Birthday Cake
Hi :) This was my first attempt at stacking a cake...it was for two birthdays so I wanted to try something new! The flowers on top are buttercream peonies (from Linda Reese's In the Garden CD). Iced in BC with buttercream dream using Sugarshack's method. Inside is chocolate cake w/ txkat's blender ganache and merissa's raspberry filling. A million thanks to CC, since there is no way I could have done it w/o all of the tips/tricks on here. Thanks for looking :)

Bridal Shower Cake
This was for my roommate's bridal shower. Her colors are maroon and silver, so I wanted the roses to match. This cake was a lot of firsts for me (first sheet cake, bead border, cornelli lace, and luster dust painting!) so overall I was happy with the results. It's a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling. Thank you for looking! (and thanks to sweetpea8 for help and inspiration!)

Golf Birthday Cake
This cake was for my dad's best friend who is a golf maniac. It is chocolate cake w/ whipped chocolate ganache and Toba Garrett's chocolate buttercream. Thanks to Jamiet for inspiration. The golf balls and tees are hand-molded candy clay. This was my first time using candy clay, and it was really fun! Thanks for looking!

Caramel Popcorn Cupcakes
I got the idea for these from the "Little Cakes from the Whimsical Bakehouse" cookbook. I'm having a movie nite, and thought these were perfect. All the recipes came from the book: caramel cupcakes, with dulce de leche filling, and the WBH House buttercream. The "buckets" are molded candy melts using silicone cupcake liners. These were so fun to make! Thanks for looking :)

Mouse Birthday Cake
Hello :) This is my 2nd "finished cake". It is the chocolate butter cake with cookies and cream filling (both WBH recipes). The icing is vanilla buttercream. I really liked working with all the colors, but my kitchen is a mess! The mouse is b/c the birthday cake is for a scientist :) I'm still learning, but I'm having fun!

Hello :) This is my final cake from WIlton Course 1. I am SO thrilled with it and honestly stunned I made it. The cake is golden buttercake with whipped chocolate ganache (both from WBH cookbook).
