Graduation Cake
Hi this is a double layer 1/2 sheet cake, 1/2 white, 1/2 chocolate. Cake is buttercream except for the graduation cap, which is covered in purple fondant. The graduate wanted her Sr pic on the cake. That and the eagle (school mascot) are edible images. School colors were black/silver, but the grad's favorite color is purple. Border is alternating black and purple, and the roses are a dark purple. Used silver sprinkles on the border to tie in the silver color and add some sparkle/bling to her cake! Roses are buttercream. Thanks for looking!

Cub Scout Blue And Gold Cake
This is the second of 2 half sheet cakes I made for my son's Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner. The theme was "What do we like about scouting" and the boys had made table decorations telling about what they liked about scouts. Iced in butter cream with buttercream and fondant accents.

Sesame Street Cupcakes
These cupcakes were inspired by a posting from bkrmama and I found the Ernie cupcakes on a Sesame Street site. I had these for my son's party and then made more (plus Elmo) for my son's daycare class. The kids all started shouting out the character names! These were REALLY easy and quick to make. About an hour for 26 or so. I had all the colors ready. The eyes are marshmallows with a dot of dark chocolate or black frosting. All the rest is tinted buttercream (except Big Bird's beak). Enjoy!

Elmo And Sesame Street Characters
Hi all! This was for my son's 2nd birthday. Elmo is from the Wilton pan and is all buttercream. I carved the Sesame St sign out of a 9 inch square cake and iced in buttercream as well to match the famous sign. The cupcakes were inspired by a posting from bkrmama and I found the Ernie cupcakes on a Sesame St site. Look for a close up of the cupcakes too.

Power Rangers Mystic Force Birthday Cake
This was for my oldest son's 5th birthday. He loves the Power Rangers and I incorporated ideas from other CC postings. THANK YOU for all the great ideas on this site. The cake is iced in buttercream and the stars are mmf - my first attempt with it! The bottom tier is a 9 inch square and the top tier is a 5 inch round tier set in the back corner of the square. I used a thin dowel for stability and a thin cardboard between tiers. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

Disney The Incredibles Birthday Cake
This was for my oldest son's 4th birthday. He loved the Incredibles. I recreated the "swirl" freehand on the cake first and then filled in with a traditional Wilton star tip. The characters were attached with buttercream and Frozone's "snow and ice" are buttercream with white sugar sprinkled on top for sparkle. Enjoy!
