Stand up teddy bear on top of 10" cake. She wanted a party hat and blower. I made the hat out of fondant, but it broke at the last second. The paper hat i used looks more like a dunce hat than a party hat...oh well, Lu Lu liked it.
3 tier fondant covered dummy. Made for community sale a few days before Mother's Day. I really liked the springy wires with flowers on top. They were fun to play with.
This goes with the tiered cake I already put up. The client added a 2nd half sheet 2 days before it was due. Buttercream icing with royal icing roses.
This is a cake I finished today. It is a 2 tier marble cake with buttercream dream and royal icing. I got a lot of inspiration from dianamariemtv (THANK YOU!).
My first time entering a cake competition, and I won 1st place. This is a carved cake covered in fondant, with all fondant accents.
I finally found a use for my stand up bear pan. Used for a friend's new baby girl.
First time I used my cupcake stand. Cupcakes are covered in mmf and have mmf roses.
Cake I made for a neighbor. It is a 2 tier cake with a volcano made with a giant cake ball. Trees are royal icing and pretzel sticks.
Fondant wedding ckae dummy with graduating shades of pink fondant ribbon.
Another cake dummy. This time decorated with yellow fondant flowers.
Tiered cake with shell accents on a cake dummy
This is one of my first wedding cakes. OK for a first try, I guess.
Heart shaped cake, covered in fondant with raspberry mousse filling
Bouquet I made to put on my website. First time I used mmf on cookies, LOVE IT!!!! So easy and looks great.
Raven's jersey made with the t-shirt pan and covered in fondant. Would have been nice if they had won last week, but the cake still turned out pretty good.
First FBCT I did. Took me 3 tries to get one I was willing to put on a cake I was selling. Good practice though.
Cake I did for a poker party. Just used mmf for the cards and chips and buttercream dream for the icing.
I put these together to put in my portfolio. Just NFSC with A's icing. Quick and easy. The cute boxes came from AC Moore for only a buck.
Tried the NFSC with A's icing, works great! Now I am in the Christmas spirit. Could be the egg nog I drank while decorating these.
I made this for my birthday. First time I used pillars since my Wilton class. I am finally getting the hang of mmf
Last pix of my new closet
Another shot of my new bakery closet
I turned a coat closet into a cake closet
After 2 girls, I wanted to really celebrate the new baby boy in my friend's family. That and I just got the book pan. It looked kind of plain, so I added the sprinkles, I think I went a little overboard.
A made the blocks out of a sheet cake. I just put them a little to close together to be able to decorate very well. The baby's name is Allison, so I wanted to have all "A"s on top.
