This cake was so hard for me to cover in fondant.. It is all vanilla cake with whiskey frosting! Tried to get it to stand up but was leaning! Was about to throw in the trash and thought it looked good laying down so made some adjustments to it! Thank goodness I already threw one bottle cake and away but made this one work ..... hopefully the guy will like it!

Hey Hey Good Looking
I wish my camera was working right! The water is bright teal not that dull gray color you see! Anyway this is for a guys birthday and wife wanted a hawaiin girl on there while he is fishing away. First time making fondant people. Anyway I wish you could see how VIBRANT the colors really are!

My Four Year Old's First Cake
My son could not make up his mind on what he wanted on his 4th b-day cake. He wanted scoobydoo, batman, and spidey( he calls him that) So his momma came up with this creation! He helped me with the web and writing his name on the side and putting the candy's and the signs where they went and painting the bat ( what a mess that was!). He loved helping me make his neopolitan cake! Had to share this cute cake with fellow CC folks!

This cake was so HARD to attempt. I have learned alot of lessons doing this cake. I made the parchment bag to big and filled to the top with buttercream which was not easy to manuever to get the scales I wanted. It took me from 8 am til 6 pm. I did not want to post this cake because I think it looks awful. However by some miracle I got lots of compliments on this cake thru the party folks that it went to.

Here is my first fondant covered stacked wedding cake without ever taking a class. I made those flowers myself. The ivy is real. I know I have loads of practice and cannot wait to start class this Sept. However the bride was so teary eyed over this cake. She absolutly loved it. I need to learn how to smooth out fondant better and how to stack a cake... However for my first ever I am satisfied and can't wait to practice alot more.
