Asian Wave Cake
My first wedding cake! Did this one last July and am just getting the photographer's photos back. Inspired by a cake in Martha Stewart Weddings, I believe it was a Wendy Kromer design, since most MSW cakes are. Covered in stamped fondant with fondant painted bamboo trims and silk flowers provided by the bride.

Shrektacular
Made this for my son's 3rd birthday party. 11x15" iced in buttercream with airbrushed grass and cobblestone path. Tip 233 buttercream grass, royal icing sugar cone trees, edible image gumpaste plaques, and melted chocolate mud bath. My borders went a little wonky, but overall I'm happy with the outcome. My son loved it!

Bridal Shower
This cake was designed after the bridal shower invitation (photo posted). I piped the yellow design right on top of the pink, laid a viva towel over top and lightly rolled my foam roller over the top to get it all flat and even. The dress is MMF, and the top is lightly brushed with corn syrup and then covered in cake sparkles. The hanger is MMF painted with NuSilver luster dust.

50Th Anniversary
My first cake of large size. I did this for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. The tiers are 6, 8, 10, and 14" with the the 8 and 14 being single layers and the 6 and 10 being double. My first time using luster dust, which was really fun! The dots were supposed to be dragees but the ones I ordered looked far too yellow next to the scrolls, so I painted royal dots with luster dust. I was really happy with the outcome and my grandparents loved it!

Welcome Home 101St
My first FBCT, a cake I made for my cousin who just came home from his second tour in Iraq with the 101st airborne division. I love this technique and can't wait to try it again! Didn't expect it to be so thick, but now I know how to fix it for next time. Thanks for looking, and please support our troops!

Course 3 Final Cake
Here's my final cake for Wilton Course 3. It is a marble cake covered in MMF with satin ribbon and royal icing petunias. I wasn't thrilled with the fondant, I had problems with lumps in it because I kneaded a new batch into a previous batch I had made that ended up having dry spots in it. Oh well, live and learn! Other than that, I was pretty happy with the outcome. :)
