I'm very happy with the way that the gum paste tulips turned out. Buttercream frosting.
This was made for a neighbors wedding. She wanted a small cake, only feeding about 10 people. But she also wanted a tiered cake. So we have a 10" layer, 6" layer, and a mini mold on top. Design was adapted from a Wilton cake book.
My first attempt at working with gum past. It was very fun and surprisingly easy to get the hang of. I know that these are one of the easiest flowers, but I was very pleased with how they turned out. They were for a neighbors wedding cake.
