This is my first attempt at making a cupckae cake for my son's birthday party. What an easy way to distribute cake!! I freehanded the picture of Spongebob and filled with stars. The kids loved it!
My 8 year old niece decorated this without my help. She designed it, picked the colours and voila!! I think she is a natural!

Grandpa loves to sail and my mom asked me to make a cake with a sailboat...wasn't too sure where I was going with it when I started! After the top layer split in half I had to repair with BC!! I need to make sure I get the slice with the extra BC!! LOL!

This was my first attempt at MMF. I really enjoyed doing it....it was a lot of fun. The cake is iced the buttercream and all the accents are MMF. Thanks to everyone at cake central who gave me the ideas to do this. Debbie thanks for the tip on the MMF!
I saw another cake I really liked with the two layers. All I did was add spring flowers.
This was a wilton cross pan and I followed the instructions to do the stained glass...I love how clear Wilton instructions are!
