For a bachelorette party last year - cake was pink mix and i injected pockets of white frosting (twinkie style) throughout the shaft :) the whoe thing was pink fondant with pink sparkle dust too. curled snakes of tootsie rolls make up the pubies :)
This is made of chocolate cake, with stabilized whip cream and airbrushing. the "sand" has sugar in the raw ans oreo crumbles and the water has edible glitter as a "border" Also - the cake has a big slope from sand to water - about 3 inches tall to 6 inches tall - its REALLY cute. .... uh, i mean manly. All the figures and trees are plastic, but take a close look at the dynamics going on between characters :) Espically the man getting attacked my the shark and the kracken taking down the fish in the ocean!

This was for my grandpa - buttercream icing, aplet and cotlet "blocks" and hand crafted marzipan fruits. Toasted pistachios "frost" the sides and are sprinkled inside the border's edge
my mom made this for a baby shower, it was so cute, frosted in butter cream and then she tinted white chocolate yellow and poured in to duckie moulds and placed them in a circle around the flower arrnagment (by yours truly)
