Swan Song Wedding Cake

This is an all buttercream cake. The front 6" heart is the one they saved for their first anniversary. I did this one for my niece's wedding, it was a beautiful wedding and everyone loved the cake. They weren't too hard to please.

Hearts & Scrolls

I didn't get to see the topper until I took the cake to set it up. The topper was so heavy that I wasn't sure how to put it on top of the cake. If I had known, I would have put a plate on the top. We used what we had available - wire stems from the silk flowers and cardboard from the cake transportation box to make it stay there. We all prayed that it would stay there until the cake cutting. The bride called and told me it was a miracle it stayed there!

Us Coastguard

This was the first of two frozen buttercream transfers that I did for a family celebrating their sons being home from the service on a vacation. This one is for the US coastguard, the other is for the Air Force.

Osu/chocoholic

I made this for a man in our church...needless to say he is a chocolate freak and also a big Ohio State University fan. Inside is chocolate cake too!! This would work for a birthday too - I made it for him just because.
