This is a Yoda cake I did for a girl graduating HS who loves Yoda. He stands 2 feet tall. His head, ears, arms and feet are rice crispy treats. His body is cake. All are wrapped in Butter cream fondant. The scroll is made from a mold using white chocolate. His hat was a toy, the only part of the cake you cant eat. I would have made the hat, but ran out of time.
I actually hated the way this cake turned out. This was the 4th face I put on him. he is sitting on what is supposed to be a moon. However he did talk and had a real lazer beam gun. I hid a voice recording box in fondent shapped like a rock and when you push the hidden button it would say "Buz light year to the rescue".

this is for pack 833 blue and gold banquet 2009. This is a multi theme bottom layer is 16X16 air brushed blue, each corner with a different patch. the 2nd layer is a 12X12 round air brushed yellow-this is the pinewood derby, and the top layer is 9X9 and represents the boy scout camp outs

this cake was from a picture I saw in a book by Debbie Brown. Mine didn't hold a candle to hers but my nephew liked it.
the car is from a car pan covered with fondent and fondent accents. This cake was very big (hard to tell from picture) but would have fed over 100 people
carriage made from sports ball covered in fondent, I should have made the bottom cake bigger to hold the wheels but live and learn. I made pumkin vines out of fondent and put candy corn pumkins around to make it look like a pumkin patch.
this one was for my daughters 6th birthday. She is an ice skater so I wanted it to look like the skates were sitting on ice. I have more pics to show How i did this if anyone needs them I can send them to you by private mes.
I found a cake in a wilton magazine and copied it. This is one of my very first cakes. I was pleased.
