Clothesline Onesie
I did a wedding cake for this couple last year, so fun to do a baby shower cake for them! The mother of the mother to be really liked my onesie cake I did a few months ago and the clothesline cake idea and asked me to combine the two. She also asked me to incorporate fondant buttons somehow so this is what I came up with! It's all marshmallow fondant with matching buttercream cupcakes (each with a fondant button on top). TFL!

I made this series of cakes for an acquaintance of mine. Her wedding was to take place in Mexico but was cancelled because of the swine flu. I told her that if she needed to throw together a last minute wedding I would help out by making her a cake. She ended up getting her wedding moved to Hawaii but decided to have a bigger wedding reception when she got back as the wedding in Hawaii was very simple. She asked me to make her a cake anyway, but would pay for it. I made a deal with her that if she let me do whatever I wanted (going along with her colors and theme of course) I would only charge her half price. I had wanted to do a series of smaller cakes so thats what I did! All the cakes are covered in MMF with chocolate fondant ribbons, edible pearls and white chocolate (with a hint of milk chocolate) sea shells dusted in pearl dust. The sizes are (from left to right) 5" round, 6"square, 9" round - 6" round, 8" round (6 inches tall) - 4", 6", 8" (2" tall), 10" rounds. I was up the entire night before with this one but I love how it came out. TFL!

Wedding shower cake for my cousin/best friend. A 8" and 5" iced buttercream with a fondant/gumpaste bow. I used the Country Kitchen Flower Fun texture mat to make the impressions in the buttercream and then piped in some of the flowers in her wedding colours. I made the bow using the tutorial here on CC. Thanks for looking!

Uganda
I went to Uganda last month with my husband to build a school room, this cake was made for a party to thankour supporters. The top tier is the classroom we built, the middle tier represents the children at the village where the school was built and the bottom tier is a sunset safari, just for fun! The fondant on the middle and bottom tiers is marbled and I used an impression mat on the brick school and roof.

Birthday cake for a 65th birthday party. The lady wanted her color scheme of black, silver, red and emerald green incorporated into the design along with music and irish shammrocks. The cake is done in MMF with fondant accents and silver dragees. The musical score was drawn on with edible ink. The "65" is gumpaste painted in silver luster dust. TFL!
