8x8 pillow on an 8" circle.
My first attempt at cake carving. I was really pleased with the result. So was my daughter. She loved it. The cake matches her favourite bear.
This is an 8" cake covered with fondant with make-up which is all made from fondant. It is for a 13 year old's birthday.
My daughter's 6th birthday cake. I got the idea from the 2hr cake book. The cake is fondant with a brick pattern rolled onto it. The towers are fondant. I made the tops of the turrets by covering cones with saran and covering that with royal icing
This is a 13x13 cake with a 9x9 cake on top. Covered with Fondant with a gold bow. I was quite pleased with it -- it was my second stacked cake.
I did this cake for a Breast Cancer Fundraiser event. They asked for a bra but I didn't want it to look like a "naughty" cake. They were quite pleased with it. Cake is done in bc with the bra done in fondant.
9x13 cake decorated in bc with a dress cut out in fondant. My first attempt. They were really pleased with it. I was too.
A picture of the side of Lauren's cake.
My attempt at a whimsical cake. Forgot to angle the bottom before I torted so I had a flat base. Cake is 10" on the bottom, 6" for the middle and a cupcake for the top. Fondant decorations.
Here is my attempt at a teapot cake. My friend wanted me to make it to match a napkin she had. It was close to the picture. I made the spout too big though as it was heavy and the teapot started to tip and then I had to fix the base...
I made this cake for a boy's sixth birthday. He loved it. It is a cake baked in a bowl on a 9x13 cake. I made the rocks out of fondont.
I did this cake for my friend's 40th birthday. I used the royal icing flowers that we made in the second Wilton class and a couple from the third one too.
This should be a bigger version
I made this from one of the Wilton Class books. Laura was quite happy with it -- Cake! Big!
This is an 8" cake with a fondont baby's head under a fondont blanket. This is my best basket weave yet. I was so pleased with it.
I did this for a bridal shower. It is done in a bowl on top of an 8" cake.
