Dots & Stripes
WASC cake with buttercream and raspberry filling covered in fondant--stripes and polka dots. Accented with a colorful daisies and butterfly ribbon to go with the spring theme of the shower. She wanted extra buttercream under the fondant layer so there was some slippage/bulging at the base but they were still happy with it.

Zebra Print With Hot Pink Ribbon & Daisies
This was to match the zebra print and hot pink accents on the bridal shower. They were using daisies to dress up the tables. This was a LOT of fun to make! I bought black fondant but I made the white fondant. Probably one of my favorite cakes so far! French Vanilla WASC with buttercream and raspberry filling.

Baby Bottle, Blankie, Blocks And Bear On A Boppy
This is supposed to look like a Boppy pillow but I wish that I had used a larger cake size {this was a 10" cake and at least a 12" would have been better, I think}. Bear and bottle are real but the rest is all edible. I made the blocks at the last minute so those are just solid fondant. This was a fun cake--chocolate with strawberry filling and those are pink lemonade cupcakes I made for her also.

Super Mario Bros Characters
For my son's 9th birthday, he couldn't decide what he wanted for a cake. He knew he wanted chocolate and then rattled off several video game characters, which he later wrote down in on a list in order of importance. haha Anyway, the characters are chocolate transfers and the boys loved it!

Candy Face
A friend's daughter really wanted this guy on her cake {Craig from youtube videos} and we were short on time. I offered to make his face from chocolate {chocolate transfer} and she could use whatever cake she wanted to put it on. This is the face on the cake. Daughter was extremely happy so mom was happy! First time trying to do a real person's face and not a cartoon character.

Spongebob Squarepants
This was for a 7 y.o. girl's birthday. It's 9by13 with RCT for arms, legs, and nose. The RCT was coated with yellow candy melt to match the cake. Facial features were made with candy melts--chocolate transfer. I'll have to do a better job of judging board size with relation to the appendages. : ) Dad and birthday girl loved it! It was fun for me too. Cake is frosted with decorator's buttercream.

Bailey's Soccer Ball Cake
This was for a friend from work for her son's 5th birthday and he's a soccer player. It's a 9*13 with a half ball pan cake. Buttercream icing with chocolate transfer for the words [it's just so much easier for me..] Thanks! This was mostly fun--except for trying to get black icing!

Disco Ball Cake
This cake was a surprised and a joint effort between me and my sister, Sharon (Tinkrbel79) for our niece. It's 2--9 by 13 chocolate cakes side by side with ball cake for the disco ball. It's frosted in buttercream with fondant tiles on the ball--we would do a rice crispy ball if we did it over again. The fondant was dusted with silver pearl dust. The name plaque is a chocolate transfer and the shadow dancers were fondant and toothpicks were placed in them when they dried. Thanks for looking!

Ariel, The Little Mermaid, Cake
This was for my daughter's 3rd birthday who loves all things related to Ariel. I was crunched for time and used a store bought candle for Ariel and candy pieces for the Flounder, stars and shells on the cake. My daughter still loved it, even if I felt like I cut corners. It's chocolate cake covered in the decorator's buttercream.
