This is a cake I made for my mom's birthday. Her and I love sushi!! The sushi chef is a resin statute, the chopsticks are real and the green mint (an inside joke) is real as well. Everything else on this cake is fondant. Chocolate cake, Baileys mousse filling and dark chocolate buttercream. Kimono and fan were dusted with luster. The sandals and bowl on top are marbled fondant. The Japanese writing is royal. I am very proud of this cake, turned out great !

I made this cake for my Grandmother. French vanilla cake, brandy IMBC. Stained glass is outlined in candy melts tinted dark grey and filled in with colored piping gel.
I finally tried a cupcake cake! This was for a friend to take to a Christmas party. White chocolate cupcakes, vanilla IMBC. The red poinsettias are made from regular BC as are the decorations on the tree. Fondant star.

This g-house kit was done by my 5 year old. I was in charge of the bag of icing but she told me where to put it! I let her do all the decorating and didn't interfere at all, which is a major accomplishment for me!!! I kept my mouth shut! She did great!

I was VERY worried about this cake b/c the woman was extremely specific about what she wanted! She also specified she wanted it to seem like the animals were singing to the bday boy! I hope this is what she pictured!!! Fondant animals, notes, and streamers. Decorated sugar cookie animals on the sides. Music scale, notes and primary accents are royal icing. Cake is chocolate fudge with choc BC icing. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME WITH MAKING THESE FONDANT ANIMALS!!!!

This was a last minute order from a friend of ours for the 7 year old daughter's birthday. Her only requirement was that there was a snowman on it! Snowman, snowballs and present are fondant; ice cream cone trees with royal icing and powdered sugar "snow". Cake is white chocolate, dreamy creamy icing and edible pearls on sides.
This is a cake I made for our early Thanksgiving dinner. This was almost my first time using IMBC. I think I whipped it too long in the end b/c I ended up with a lot of air bubbles, hence not being able to get the icing completely smooth. Now I know for next time. Cake is butter pecan, vanilla IMBC, pecan pieces on top.

Here is my take on the christening gown cake that I've seen others do beautifully! This cake was for a co-workers baby girl's christening. White chocolate cake with raspberry preserve filling, covered in BC. Used diamond impression mat with edible pearls. Dress is made from fondant. Edible pearls on details as well.
Here is my first STRANGER cake!! It was for her daughter's 4th birthday! All they knew is they wanted Wizard of Oz theme and the top tier had to be pink! She also brought the plastic character figures (thank goodness!). Cake is covered in BC, accents, road, etc. are fondant. This was a giant pain but I think it turned out great! And of course I couldn't have done it all without missmersh!!!!! I was going to make ruby slippers then I realized I didn't have room!! Thanks to those who tried to help w/that!!
