I took the recipe suggestions to my culinary meeting and they are definitely going to use the oatmeal cookie recipe...I also took a cake that I decorated yesterday of a pumpkin with a black cat hanging over the edge. It turned out real cute, if I do say so myself. Anyway, I'm now
recruited to make 6 small cakes to sell for the bake sale...They will be decorated, but not elaborately. Any suggestions on something easy to
decorate for fall. Was thinking of maybe some fall leaves with pumpkins
figure piped in the middle....

Yes, but I have a dinosaur computer and a crappy scanner that I can't get to work...I want to post my pictures really bad, because I would really like to get some feedback from the other decorators on this site, but a new computer is not in the cards right now....I've been decorating for about 6 months and I love it.....I also love to bake cookies and make candy....

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't get this to you sooner. I was at work earlier shhh.gif and just got home.

But here is my Monster Cookie Recipe.....maybe for another occasion.

3/4 cup Brown Sugar
3/4 cup White Sugar
1 c oil
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla
6 oz choco chips
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup M & M's (I like usuing the minis)

1. Cream sugars, egg, oil
2. Mix salt, soda, flower, vanilla & oatmeal.
3. Add to sugar mixture.
4. Add choco chips, nuts, & M&M's
5. Bake at 350* for ~7-10 min on ungreased sheet or until golden brown.

I usually make these kinda large cookies and take them out of the oven right before they are done and let them rest on the cookie sheet for a few mintues. That way they get a little crispy on the outside and are chewy and soft on the inside.

These cookies are always a huge it.

Sorry again for not getting it to you sooner.
Enjoy,
Christine
