I am making a groom's cake for my friend's wedding as a gift and she has gotten all divalicious on me! Nahhh, she's not been that bad, but she is like "Okay, that would be a huge blessing, but can we request a few things?"...I should have said "NO! My treat, so I will tell you what you're gonna get!" I'm just playing. Although that would have been nice for me!
Anyway, I think I'm going to just use a DH Moist Deluxe White Cake mix, but do you think that would be tasty with a bavarian cream? And is there such a thing as a no cook, or easy to make bavarian cream? It's for next weekend so I have time to figure out the right combination. But, it would be nice to come up with something sooner rather than later.
Any suggestions? I know, I've probably been a pain the last coupel of days because I've posted so many times. Sorry. I really do try to not post until I think I have something to contribute. Please forgive me.

I love bavarian cream with white cake. I order my bavarian cream form countrykitchensa.com. It comes in a pack and does not have to be refrigerated. it tastes great. Local cake stores carry it too, but it's cheaper to order it.
Hmmm, that's an idea. Didn't think about pre-made bavarian. I think Southern Homes and Gardens might have this. I'll have to look. Thanks for the idea.
can't find pre-made bavarian...sooooooooooo, anyone got a quick and EASY bavarian cream recipe? And by any chance, does all bavarian cream recipes contain cream cheese? I have found a couple recipes online, but they all have cream cheese in them. I guess I've never had real bavarian cream because those doughnuts from KRISPY KREME don't taste like they have cream cheese in them!!
Oh, BTW, cream cheese is okay in the recipe, I'm just wondering if this is standard for bavarian and if so, I need a quick and easy recipe FAST!!
