What is the best thing to make figures out of. MMF/Gumpaste/or something else. If I make them out of MMF, do I have to use gum-tex or will it get hard enough with out it? icon_confused.gif This will be my first time trying to do anything like this, so I am just gonna practice. All advice welcomed!! icon_biggrin.gif

You can use fondant, it will take a little longer to dry. Some people mix fondan/gumpaste (50/50). This helps it dry faster and better to work with. So it is a matter of choice and how long you want to wait for it to dry. You should also make your figures a least a week or two ahead of time. Just in case one breaks or anything happens. You can all ways store extra pieces for future use.

good luck
