How do you store cake balls until they are ready to eat or be given away? Fridge or airtight container on counter?

I think on counter top in air tight container should be fine. Also, if they're dipped in chocolate, they shouldn't be fridge or freezer.

I have been making cake balls for a few months now with all my cake scraps and just store them in Ziploc baggies and put them in the freezer. They come out just fine. I do coat them in Wilton candy melts and haven't had any problems. Plus I love to eat them right out of the freezer. So good!
