got to make them for a little girls birthday, and there are kids allergic to nut, so only vanilla, any recipees would be great!!!!

Sorry - the only recipe I have has marzipan in it.

Just make a plain white or sponge cake. Cut in half. Fill with jam. Use poured fondant (there is a recipe on Wilton's site) just using vanilla as the flavoring.

I think petite fours are really cute...but take a long time to do. I did mini cupcakes for a party one time and they turned out really cute. I think any white or yellow cake mix flavored with vanilla would work just fine.
