Trying to make MMF currently. I was re-reading the instructions from this site. The ingredients call for flavoring and water but does not state when I need to add it.

Please help!!! Do I add it to the melted marshmellows before adding the sugar?

I know this is probably too late for you but, when I made it I just added water to the mm when I put them in the microwave to melt them. I haven't tried it with any flavorings yet but would like too.

I added the water and flavorings to the marshmallows befor putting them int the microwave. I also greased my bowl with crisco before adding everything. It turned out really well..

well, I am finished. I added the water before and adding the flavoring after I melted them. (didn't get your post crimsonhair untill now - thanks though!!! ). I think it turned out okay.
I now have it wrapped and stored to work with tomorrow.
I am just glad I am not putting it over the entire cake!
