I am curious. I have a hard time designing a cake. Any suggestions on how to go about designing a cake? Is there a form or something that would be helpful?

Well, that's a broad question...do you just mean ideas on how to decorate it?? It depends on what kind of cake, theme, what its for etc. I like it when I have time to "ponder" on a cake b/c my ideas usually come later on when I'm not actively thinking about things. I also have a ton of websites of fellow cake-decorators that I flip through to get ideas. Also the gallery on here is GREAT for ideas. Usually I'll like several things about different cakes and I try to take those and go from there.
