AHello, I'm making a cupcake bouquet and I'm worried about the bottom cupcakes staying on, I've seen some tutorials for the "cup" method, however I don't have time to do this as it's for tomorrow! I was going to use 2 cocktail sticks to hold the cupcakes in place at different angles but I'm worried that people then won't be able to get the cupcakes off!? Any ideas?

AHi Katie, I'm making 6 of these for mothers day, not sure why your using cocktail sticks, much simpler to use royal icing to secure them down thats what I intend doing.

AOh really? What I'm doing is I have a polystyrene ball and then I'm sticking cocktail sticks in to hold the cupcakes in place, how do you do it? :)

AHa right, I'm only using 7 cakes arranged in a bouquet then stems coming down with ribbon, sounds more simple than yours, I can see why you want the cocktail sticks maybe

I did this one before but had a few problems with the bottom cupcakes :/ I was going to stick 2 cocktail sticks in separate directions per cupcake but then thought they'll be impossible to get off of the bouquet! :(

A Kates, this is the one i'm making, very simple, but as I have 6 of them I'm happy to do them just like this.

I do like yours though, very pretty.
