Lego Cake Copyright Question

If I made a cake that looked like building blocks is that considered a copyright violation?  I don't plan to write Lego or anything on it but is just having the blocks considered a copyright violation?

AMaybe email Lego and ask them? That s what I tend to do when I'm not sure about copyright :-)

AOne of the best sellers on etsy makes Lego jewelry. She says she has heard from Lego people and they love it! I was actually surprised, but they never went after her. Not saying what you should do, just passing on an anecdote. Nancy
