Does anybody have a good recipe for a graham cracker flavored cake? Every recipe I have tried has come out very dense and far too moist, and even with doctoring they still are not what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

I am just assuming you are making some sort of s'mores cake or cupcake. I'll give a suggestion for what I have done in the past to get that flavor without making a whole graham cracker cake because I have found the same thing you have with them.

All I have done is cut some small pieces of graham crackers and throw them in the cake batter. Don't pulverize or crush them. Just put small pieces...like 1/4 to 1/2 inch sized into the batter and stir them in.

I have put them in chocolate batter and vanilla batter. When you bite into the cake, you can still see the pieces and you get the flavor of the graham cracker. I had a TON of compliments on those cupcakes.
