Icing a cake whiles still frozen

Hi

I have a birthday cake I'm making. I made the cakes ahead of time and froze them to keep fresh. I pulled these out of the freezer yesterday and crumb coated them then placed back in the fridge for 20 mins to set the frosting before I iced over them. The cakes had been out of the freezer for an hour before I crumb coated but still felt firm before I iced. I did try a cutting of the cake and it tasted fine. As I was icing the cake did sweat out. Would that just be from where I had cooled it back in the fridge. I've checked on it today and it's all nice and dry.

Question is will my cake inside be ok? I'm worried that when it's cut there may be a problem. Has anyone had any similar situations?

Your cake will be fine, we freeze cakes all the time, no problems and rave reviews.
