Can Cake Push-Ups/shooters Be Frozen

Thinking of making some cake push-ups. Just cake and butter cream layers. Can these be completely made ahead of time and then frozen? Thanks for your help!!

I have never frozen push-ups but I have frozen many cupcakes and they are just fine..
