Today, as io was walking past my neighbors door, she called my name and asked me if I would be willing to do her daughters 17th birthday cake in February. She said they didn't do a Sweet 16 for her, so they wanted to throw a special party for her 17th. I told her that I would love to do a cake for her, but let's wait until after Christmas to plan it out and she said "Oh no, I want her boyfriend to plan it, so you do what he wants and I'll write a check. Does she know how dangerous that can be??? It's lucky for my neighbors that I am up front and as honest as can be with my pricing!

haha, this will be interesting! since we're talking about teens here...will the boyfriend still be around by feb? i know i went thru sooo many when i was that age!
Haha, Rainbow_Moon!! I can relate to what you are saying! Teens and their love lives are like the changing weather. She might still have this boyfriend in Februaruy, but maybe not. Well, Debbi, good luck with this one. No matter what i know that you will do a fantastic job on it!!

LOL that's so true. I have two younger sisters around that age and they don't know what they want......... So that might be a little risky on your neighbors part
Naw, these two have been together for over a year and are really level headed. Plus they are band 'geeks', so I don't see them splitting up during their senior year.

I think even if they broke up then the mom would still want you to do the cake. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.
