How can I make my homemade cakes moist like the box mixes. Getting annoyed with people saying cake is dry when its made from scratch

It is all about the recipe. Not sure what is making yours dry without knowing what yours is. I do all of mine from scratch and people are always telling me how light and fluffy they are.

It really does depend on your recipe. Boxed cakes are engineered to have a 'moist' mouthfeel. Scratch cakes seem to feel a bit more 'dry.'
You can always try a simple syrup to help with the moisture level. But until anyone knows exactly what your recipe is and exactly how you bake it, it's hard to tell what is making your cake so dry.
