AWhat do you use to display your wedding cakes? Do you use a board or a stand or both? I am making a 5/7/9 wedding cake for a friend. I was just going to use a masonite cake board. Now I'm thinking I should get a ceramic stand in addition or instead. How big of a board or stand would you use for 9 inch base? I got a 14" board so I coud use it for 10s and 12s too, but now I'm thinking its too big for a 9". Any suggestions?

AI use stands whenever possible. They just look so much better. You can find inexpensive stands at save on crafts & a beautiful inexpensive silver one at global sugar art.

A 12" woul be perfect for the 9". A 14" woul be fine. Anything larger will look a bit off, but you could use a decorated cake board to balance the difference.
