My son turned 4 this week and wanted a "Magic Mickey" party -- or to all others -- a Fantasia party.

Soooo, I decided to try a new filling. Didn't look right when I spread it on, didn't "feel" right after I refrigerated it, but I decorated it anyway.

Hmm...should've known...

Yup. Slid off. On a positive, I'm loving the wood planks. I saved the top tier and fortunately had enough time to re-bake and decorate another bottom tier. Turned out pretty cute!

Lesson learned!!

My kids are excited to still eat the "flop" cake though! :)

Thank you -- I won't be sculpting a cake again for a looooong time! I'll stick to gum paste or modeling chocolate!! icon_smile.gif

It was funny -- sad, but funny to just watch it slowly slide....
