Hi everyone,

I just wanted to say I just hosted my first official wedding cake tasting yesterday and I am very excited about it all. The young bride and groom gave me lovely feedback and said they couldn't think of a thing that they would want to change and they were super chuffed with the cake and buttercream selections to choose from. I think I got lucky and got a really lovely couple for my first official wedding cake. They are having a vintage afternoon tea sort of theme and want a cutting cake in the shape of a teapot and then lots of cupcakes with little sugar tea sets and roses.

I would not have been at this stage of caking without the help of lots of people here on Cake Central so thank you everyone very very much for all the hints and tips you've posted which are just invaluable to beginners like me.
