Where To Buy No Taste Red Food Coloring

I currently use Wilton no flavor red food coloring for my red velvet cake. I need to find out where to buy this or a similar brand in larger quantities for my bakery.
Use Google. Or contact your local supplier, they will know how to order it for you.
This stuff should be available in either 4 ounce or 16 ounce jars.
You might also try Americolor brand "super red". You can test in the 3/4 ounce and if it's OK then you can buy 14 ounce.
I stopped using wilton no-taste red red food colouring last year in my red velvet cake recipe. I got advice from a CCer to use regular food grade liquid food colouring. Works even better and it isn't as expensive as dunking a tub of gel paste in my cake.
I have hesitated to just buy the regular liquid at the grocery store because I heard that it can make the cake taste bitter. Apparently that is not the case. I will experiment with both suggestions . Thank so much
Yes I was once where you are. Hesitant to buy grocery or any liquid red food colouring. To my surprise and by a lot of convincing on CC, I bought it, tried it and never looked back. The wilton gel paste was too expensive to keep dunking that tub in a recipe. I was adding $4US extra per 1 oz tub vs $.50 for the equivalent of 1 oz in liquid form.
Exactly the cost of this is crazy for a bakery business. Thanks I think we have McCormick and maybe Durkee in our grocery stores. I will try them . Thanks for passing this info along to me.
I have used liquid food coloring in my red velvet cakes for 47 years and have never had a problem with it. In fact I now buy it by the quart from Restaurant Depot but if you have a Gordon Food Service near you they may be able to order some if they don't already carry it on the shelf. It is certainly less costly to buy a quart than the little 1 oz bottles from the grocery stores.

See even cakegrandma has been doing this for 47 yrs and going strong with it! You'll save LOTS of $$$ from now.
You can order powdered food coloring online, it has no taste and no additives, and it's much more compact than liquid food coloring.
