How would you set up your table?

Obviously have stands with cupcakes on it, maybe one cake for display, cards.... what else? What would you use for a table cloth and would you have other decorations?

Thanks!

I've only done one event...about 3 weeks ago. So I don't know how much help I'll be...BUT...it was a very small event and decided to only offer 4 different types of cupcakes and heart shape cakes. Because i'm just starting out, and didn't want to spend a lot up front..i orginally was going to go with cupcakes set up on their own pedestol type display w/ a dome cover for each, but dome covers were expensive..so I made little pedestal stands, put one type of cupcake on each, w/ the price and flavor on a card in front...and sold cupcakes preboxed. (the one on display not for sale...as lots of people tend to sneeze/cough, and b/c i didnt have it covered, didn't want to sell...) I didnt want to put them just out on a stand, because I felt I'd rather have them covered, or preboxed...Less change of other peoples germs getting in my stuff! I just used a piece of black fabric as my table cloth. A Banner probably would be a good item to have...Business cards and Flyers also! And I had a spiral bound printout book of my other cakes/cupcakes I did so I'd have a little portfolio for others to see. Hope that helps a little!

We need a LOT more information. What kind of event? How many people? Outdoors? Hot/Cold? Casual, Formal? How long is the event? Are they buying your goods or getting them free?

Since your are now legal--congratulations by the way!!!--you may already have business cards, posters, etc. If you don't, I suggest you go to VistaPrint.com Look under the "shop for business" heading. You can get a lot of free stuff or customize your own. You can get banners for your table, and much, much more. Spend some time on the site and you'll be amazed at the options.
