I am contemplating purchasing a air brush for cake decorating. Is it a good or bad idea? What's a good one to get? Do you have any tips or good links on how to use it?
I own a 2 speed Air Master airbrush by Kopy Kake and add additional feature of a foot petal.....I love it! I purchased my airbrush from Beryls about 8 yrs ago and it's still humming along beautifully.
You can use the airbrush for coloring fondant cakes, buttercream cakes, gumpaste flowers, and other gumpaste decorations cake.
Learning how to use the airbrush, practice with a children's coloring books for a bit, so you feel comfortable using it.
Merry - excellent suggestion of using a children's coloring in book for practice. I am waiting for delivery of my airbrush. I have test-driven Iwata and decided to treat myself and purchase one. I will be armed and positiely dangerous once it arrives. Don't stand still - you will get painted.
