Hello Everyone,

I have a question about mixing different fondants and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I have a package of Fondx pink fondant and I want to lighten the pink, plus I do not think I have enough to cover my cake with it. I have a package of white Wilton fondant as well. I have mixed Wilton fondants before without an issue but I have never mixed FondX with Wilton - has anyone ever mixed the two?

Thanks

Probably but experiment with a little bit first. I've mixed my home made with Wilton and it's been fine.

I've mixed all different brands of fondant - - usually when I get one too stiff or one's too soft. IMO fondant is fondant. I've never had any trouble with it.

I've mixed them and it's fine. Hope you have enough fondant to get your cake done icon_smile.gif
