Need Help!!

I was asked to do a baby shower cake and I want to make a fondent blanket and a baby the blanket will cover the baby like he is sleeping but i have never used fondent and need to know if there is a template for the blanket and the baby and any useful tips for the first time useing fondent ???? need hep ASAP thanks for all of those who can help me

Funny you should want to do this take a look at my photos. I did this today for my sister inlaw. I have never used fondant before this. I just cut a square for the blanket and then cut the edges with a knife. The wilton Fondant book has pictures and how to pages to help show how to make them. Its not really that hard just give it a try.

Fondant is lots of fun! Just keep your surface dusted with confectioner's sugar to prevent sticking. It's like play dough for grown ups!
