What Can I Use To Get A Major Sparkle Effect?

I really love the look of disco dust but I know its not edible...I have a hot pink tier that I'm making for a cake and I would love to find something that really makes it sparkle but can also be eaten. Luster dust just doesn't seem to sparkle enough. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Disco dust...comes in a variety of colors.
Right, but OP states that she knows it's NOT edible, so she asked for alternatives.

Disco Dust isn't edible! Darn, I wanted to try it out but didn't want to pay shipping so I settled for cake sparkles. I'm glad I did now.
Thanks everybody! I think I'm going to attempt the sugar, I found it in hot pink ...do I just brush the cake with a lil bit of water and attach it like that?
I tried the sanding sugar and didn't like it. You could use a pearl spray. I believe it comes in pink.
Michael's carries edible glitter in a few colors...I always like the clear, looks like little diamonds! Good luck! Would love to see the finished cake!
