Hello all,
I've got a request for a 3D boot cake for this saturday, and I've looked at the tutorials on the 3D boot cakes, my question is, I've traced out the boot outline, and I noticed several of you used the 6 inch ovals or rounds, but with my outline my boot heel is not that big, trying to make realistic size, not huge boot, for small party of 20, did you just carve down those cake sizes or do I need to make my cake bigger to fit those sizes, I'm kinda worried about it standing up too, any suggestions.
Thanks
Jody

I used a sheet cake and cut out 6 layers for the leg. You can see it in my pics.
