Hi all. I am trying to do a doll cake, except instead of using a doll I'd like to sculpt a dress form to use. My problem is that I am having issues "pulling out" the neck and arm nubs while keeping boobs on the figure. (working with gumpaste and can't have seams...)Any suggestions?

I am assuming you mean a barbie doll, by your description? But I'm still not quite understanding what exactly you are trying to achieve? Do you want to make the dress on the doll, then take it off? If that is correct, then are you greasing the doll with crisco first? It would be like 'forming' over anything. And you WILL have seams, so just incorporate them into the outfit (add beads, zipper etc) and they can be minimized by smoothing together with water. If you want to keep the boosom form, then leave the clothes on longer or use saran wrap to keep the shape (that's what I use for bows etc...). As far as the sleeves etc.. go, you can use the same approach. Don't worry too much about seams - clothes have seams. I hope this was what you were talking about?
