I am baking an 11x15 cake for the first time, i am scared that it will not be baked in The center. What temperature should i bake it at?

I bake mine at 325 degrees and it works fine .

hi, bake it at 325 with metal flower nail(2) spaced out. spray the flower nail, place upside down in pan, pour in your batter. after it bakes, and cools for a little bit, turn out on cooling rack , take out nail. these nails distibutes heat to the center of the cake , helping it to bake even. hth

I use one big flower nail or two smaller flower nails when I bake my 11x15 or 12x18 cakes, in fact just baked one tonight! I also bake my bigger cakes at 25 degrees less than I normally would...works GREAT!

Ditto - 325 and the flower nail..if you have no flower nail, the 325 alone should work fine.

I like to use a heating core, and reduce temp as well

I reduce to 325; use baking strips; no nails; and definitely no cores. Grease only, don't flour the pans to allow the cake to rise really high.
