2 Birthday's 1 Cake...10Yr Old/40 Yr Old....help!

Family is coming into town to visit my client. They are going to do a mash up birthday party. They just want one cake. The 10yr old is a girly girl...zebra print, pink, sparkly. The 40yr old is a mans man...hunter, fisher, riflesman, sports. So...how do I put this together? I would like a cohesive vision...but I don't think it's going work here. Is it going to be aweful to split it in half and decorate two separate visions?
I don't have all the details worked out, but I would start with a topsy turvy idea and go from there.
How about doing a black and pink striped design on one side, and a similar one in black and white on the other?
One side could say "for the kid"
The other "for the kid at heart" or something like that.
i hate cakes for more than one person, where theres no one thing that they have in common.
so could be time to call in the standard cake ideas - retro circles, stipes, balloons.
candy themed cake - candy barrel, or tiered cake with lollipops etc in candy colours. most people like sweets!
xx
I like the kid and kid at heart too.
I'd do one side black and white zebra print. Do the other side, black, white and grey camouflage. On the zebra side add girly stuff like lipstick, small purse, etc. On the camouflage side add hunting or fishing stuff.
Good luck!
