I have found what my talent is. I can make cakes, but I really want to specialize in flowers and figurines.

I would market to home bakers and bakeries. If you love designing and making cakes but don't have the time or equipment for flowers, would you order from someone else?

Pros/cons, thoughts?

(just had carpal tunnel release surgery so can't type well. Wish I could say more but wanted CCers thoughts)

Yes, lots of bakeries order gumpaste flowers over the internet and they know all the best places to get them wholesale within the states and overseas. I think it would be difficult to market them to home bakeries because they probably aren't swamped with business and may choose to make their own.

Perhaps you could search what's available online, and only offer something that isn't easily found or that isn't available yet... your niche in the market! Good luck with what you decide!
