Thanks!

no, they don't come in other colors, but you can just cover them with fondant to get them to be another color.

As a tip, coat the globe with a little piping gel and the fondant will stick on there beautifully.

Thanks for the tip. We bought Styrofoam balls and covered those but I wasn't happy with the seems so I thought I would try to see if they came in other colors. I will just make the Styrofoam ones again as they are only for a dummy cake. Only this time have more fondant on hand. icon_smile.gif

I used them for my granddaughters cake and we used balloons....they come in all colors and just get them the right size to fit snugly with the end going into the hole in the globe...they worked great and is much easier than covering with fondant believe me...and you dont have to permanently change the color!!! Hope this helps

How did you get the balloons on the globe? I must not be understanding what you did exactly.

buy the round balloons and cut some of the "stem" off (the part you blow in) and stretch it around the globe....get the heavier kind of balloon, the kind you can use with helium....then after it is in the balloon..tuck the extra inside the hole in the globe....buy a couple extra balloons just in case... hope that helps
