are you ready for this?

i have a request for a cake with a theme for the 27 club...you know, the group of musicians that died at 27. the girl's 27th birthday party is a costume party. guests were asked to dress up like thier favorite dead musician, one on their way out, or one that is alive, killed how you think they might die.

i have complete freedom with this cake and im stuck. any ideas will be helpful.

thanks in advance!!!

I would use edible images of the dead musicians icon_smile.gif

I'm kind of freaking out over this idea!! I never heard of it before, and I have a musician son who turns 27 in August. icon_eek.gif

Just kidding, I, luckily, don't believe in this sort of thing!

This was the first time I heard of it, and I had to go and search what it was about hehe.

No I don't believe in that either icon_razz.gif

Let me know what you come up with. I'm guessing a cake with this sort of theme would be dark, Halloween-like... but I'm only guessing.

Maybe a 60's theme? Woodstock, tie dye, flower power, etc. That would cover Hendrix, Joplin and Morrison's era. I bet they will be common costumes.
