I went to our local dollar tree yesterday and saw them selling cake pans - the black non-stick ones for a $1 each! They looked thick and like the regular Wilton pans.

Has anyone used these pans? Do you think they will be good for regular use?

My only experience with the cheaper non-stick pans is that the coating tends to peel after a while. Have not tried the Dollar tree ones in particular...
Hope they are good! icon_smile.gif

Haven't tried the pans but the Mighty Dollar (which is similiar to the Dollar Store) will sell Wilton cutters and Wilton food colors sometimes. Thought that was an awesome deal. I got my leaf cutters (in 3 sizes) for just a dollar. icon_biggrin.gif

I have bought some of the baking stuff at dollar tree and they start to get a weird smell when they get wet. Some have even rusted. thumbsdown.gif

Thanks Cristy for the info. I'll spend my dollar on something else. Don't want any rusting pans.
