What Else Can I Rest My Fondant/gumpaste Figures To Dry On?

Hi, I am making some figures and haven't been able to get any memory foam to rest my figures on to dry.
Is there anything else I can use so that they are ventilated and don't change shape too much?
Thanks!!
Honestly I usually put toothpicks into the bottom of them and stick them into styrofoam...just don't press them all the way down so that air can get around them!
Heres a few other things you can use:
- egg carton foam (Ron Ben Israel does this) you know the kind you find in the bedding section
- bubble wrap
- use make up wedges (they are awesome esp for separating petals)
- apple cartons (love this for big flowers)
imho the green styrofoam flakes too easily, reminds me of when I used to try to use cotton a few years ago...uhh the fibers
fun foam...whats that?
