This is my first time doing cupcakes for a wedding. The bride already has a wedding cake but would like 40 or so cupcakes for the kids. She just wants simple vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with alternating pink and brown frosting. what would be a reasonable price to charge since I am new to this whole baking world?

The baker of the wedding cake may also take issue with her getting the cupcakes from someone else - many specify that all cakes must come from them or they won't do the wedding cake. She should really check first.

Apart from that, I charge the same as pterrell - $30 for a basic swirled dozen, whole dozens only. Custom decorated start at $36 a dozen. If they want them filled, then it's 50cts extra per cupcake. HTH!
