Well, I just discovered last night that Harley's poor sister Havana was named after her parent's favorite cigars! Find some different inspiration!
I have to say I love unique names & unique spellings. I chose Adeline & Ansleigh for my girls. No, we don't find persoanlized pencils in stores (but thankfully there's the internet now). And while I thought they were pretty simple (Ansleigh a little more different, but has the female "leigh") but almost everyone spells my oldest Adaline & they add an "I" to make it Ainsley, Ainslee, Aynsley, Ansley (which is the most common but a boy's spelling), Anslee, Anslie, etc. I know we live in the south, but I've never put an I in her name when pronouncing it. I want to tell them 1)I signed her in on the sheet 2) Her belongings are embroidered 3) Her cups have her name on them . When people ask how to spell it my dh says An--sleigh. My grandparents just write Wren on everything (her middle name which is actually a perfect description of her)
My FIL wanted to name my SIL Jemima. Thankfully my MIL said no way, but it would have been cool for my girls to have an Uncle Ben & Aunt Jemima
